Bleeding Out
One of the most talked about cutscenes in SR2. I think the emptiness of the scene visually and audio-wise emphasizes Carlos’ suffering. You can hear his cries cutting through the rain. Also, I chose to do the final dollying shot in one long take to give the scene much more impact.
Shogo’s Burial Scene
When I read the script for the scene, I knew immediately I wanted to work on it. I loved its dark tone, and the brutal beating that Johnny inflicts. It’s a different Johnny than we’re used to seeing.
